Distant Suffocation

Distant Suffocation — a series about breaking out of your own cocoon, only to find yourself is the thing that terrorises you. There's a moment right after emergence where you expect light, air, relief instead you're met with the parts of yourself you've spent years avoiding. This is a story about the most complicated relationship there is: the one with yourself. Each image sits inside that contradiction, the pull to protect yourself and the urge to destroy yourself, both coming from the same place.
